Jesse Bates Jr., age 61 of Belfry, KY passed away Thursday September 1st, 2011 at Pikeville Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Saturday September 3rd, 2011 at the Stopover Church of God. Burial will follow in the Bates Family Cemetery in Jackhorn, KY. Visitation will be after 6pm on Friday September 2nd, 2011 at the church with special service at 7:30pm.
